FAQ’

How will I receive my photos?

Bear Creative Co. sends an online gallery through PASS for viewing, sharing, and downloading. Just share the link with your friends, family, and loved ones, and let them do the rest. You receive the print rights for your images. This means you can print with us or anywhere else your heart desires! Also, we advise you to make sure to back up your images in at least 2-3 places. If that’s printing them, putting them on a computer, thumb drive, or the cloud just do it! But, your gallery is up for 1+ years. I have yet to actually remove an album from our PASS account so there’s that. If I did plan on doing that I would make sure to send you an email!! 

How many photographers will be at my wedding? 

We will send a minimum of one lead photographer to your wedding. That means you get Gina or Daniel!! Depending on your needs, there could be additional photographers and assistants to help capture your wedding day as well. We pull from the best group of creatives in the Columbus area (most of these photographers are even our best friends).  

Will I receive unedited raw files?

We don’t often give RAW files. That’s not to say we haven’t or wouldn’t but that usually comes at an additional cost. Also, something to think about, RAW files are HUGE! Don’t just pay for them to pay for them. If you don’t have editing software, storage, or even a computer that can read them they won’t really help you. We do store the RAWS for a full year and then only save the Culled RAWS after that for an additional year. 

Will you assist and communicate with other vendors?

100%! We love working with your vendor team and often times we KNOW THEM!! It’s so much fun when we all are friendors! That ensures that we are working together to make your day as epic as possible.

Are you readily available for all my needs?

I AM! That’s not to say I may take a little bit to respond and try to more often than not take weekends “off” from responding. That is mainly because we are capturing events or spending time with family. But, if you need me I will make sure to respond ASAP! Normal office hours are our friend!

How do we book?

To book Bear Creative you simply have to pay 30% of whatever package you choose (this is your nonrefundable retainer - it is a percentage of your wedding but goes towards it and isn’t an additional fee) and sign a contract! The rest of the payment is due 7 days before your wedding day and all your payments, emails, notes, and important details are kept in your Honeybook account. Yay for organization!!

How Long have you been shooting weddings?

We officially started shooting weddings in 2013-14 right before we got married! What a wild and epic ride this has been.

How do you describe your style?

Woof, that’s a fun question. Photojournalistic with a huge emphasis on emotion. We follow along on your day and capture it as authentically as possible. We want to enhance movement and moments. We want to help you live in those moments fully so that our images show you!
